Leave Kota Kinabalu via the Tuaran highway to driving past industrial areas. At Tuaran, 45 minutes away, visit the native market for a touch of local color. Here, rural produce such as betel nut, dried and fresh fish, local vegetables and fruits are sold. A suspension bridge by the marketplace is a point of interest.
